Mr Lawrenson holds postgraduate qualifications in commerce and finance and has worked extensively in project development and investment banking around the world, including in Australia, USA and Singapore. Mr Lawrenson is an experienced mining executive and director with deep expertise in the minerals and energy sectors derived from his considerable global experience. He has a successful track record of leading strategic direction in companies and executing corporate transactions.
His previous executive roles include Atlas Iron Limited, where he led the company’s stabilisation and the subsequent takeover by a wholly owned subsidiary of Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd. Prior to this, he led several ASX listed companies through various stages of development. He held the position of Group Managing Director of GRD Group Limited (GRD) from 2006 to 2009. Prior to joining GRD, Mr Lawrenson was a senior executive and vice president of CMS Energy Corporation in the USA and Singapore for seven years.
Mr Lawrenson is currently Non-Executive Chairman of ASX-listed Pacific Energy Ltd (ASX:PEA), and a Non-Executive Director of Primero Group Ltd (ASX:PGX)
Mr Peter Watson is a chemical engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in the global resources sector across senior technical, project, and management roles as well as corporate experience in running ASX listed companies. His experience includes project development, project delivery, asset optimisation and mining facilities operations across multiple commodities and global jurisdictions, including Africa. Mr Watson has held technical and senior executive roles with a number of companies, culminating in his appointment as the MD & CEO of Sedgman Limited. Mr Watson has also held a number of senior and directorship roles at Strandline Resources Ltd, Sedgman Limited, New Century Resources, Resource Generation and EvacGroup, bringing significant board level experience at both the public and wholly owned company level, particularity on matters covering safety, governance, financial reporting, risk management, strategy and leadership.
Mr Watson is currently an executive director at Strandline Resources (ASX:STA) and a non-executive director at New Century Resources Ltd (ASX:NCZ).
Mr Peter Main is a mining and finance professional with extensive experience in these sectors spanning more than 30 years. During that time, Mr Main has developed an extensive working knowledge of the financial markets with a wealth of contacts and industry experience. Mr Main has spent almost 15 years in a variety of roles in the mining industry from operations through to CEO of a TSX-V listed mining company, obtaining diverse experience across most facets of mining operations. He has spent 20 years in finance, mainly working for investment banks, including 11 years managing the Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC) Australian equity sales and trading business and co-managing RBC's regional business. Prior to this Mr Main spent 6 years at Hartley Poynton as a mining analyst and almost 9 years serving in the Australian Army. Mr Main is currently Managing Director of Conan Minerals Group Pty Ltd providing access to short term debt capital enabling access to economically sound growth strategies with the objective of providing short to medium term funding solutions.

Mr Sullivan brings 30 years of diversified mining experience to Paladin, across multiple commodities and projects domestically and internationally. His experience spans strategic planning in mines and smelters; feasibilities; commissioning; mine expansion and restructuring; mine, port and rail infrastructure; project management; sustainability and government and has a strong emphasis on operational optimisation.
He was most recently General Manager of Newcrest’s large and complex Telfer gold-copper mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Prior roles include CEO and Managing Director roles with ASX-listed companies centred in West Africa and the US. He was Asset President of NSW Energy Coal at BHP, being directly responsible for the operation and rapid expansion of one of Australia’s iconic and highest producing coal mines, Mt Arthur, along with the Caroona Coal project and BHP’s share in the NCIG port infrastructure in Newcastle.
Mr Sullivan was also GM of Peabody Energy’s Wambo Coal operations in the Hunter Valley. Mr Sullivan is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and an MBA.
Chief Financial Officer

Ms Sudlow is a highly qualified CFO with more than 20 years of experience across the energy and resources sectors specialising in corporate finance and funding, investor relations and commercial management. Ms Sudlow commenced her career at Woodside Energy, progressing into senior functional roles across treasury and portfolio management; thereafter working with small cap ASX listed companies in senior leadership positions with a focus in finance and commercial. Ms Sudlow previously held the position of CFO at Transborders Energy, where she has been their CFO since 2017. Ms Sudlow has a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from the University of WA, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia, is a CPA and a graduate of the AICD.
Ms Sudlow joined the Paladin Group in July 2019.

Ms Betti is an accounting and corporate governance professional with more than 20 years’ experience in accounting, corporate governance, corporate advisory, finance and corporate banking.
Ms Betti has acted as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for companies in the private and publicly listed sectors, as well as senior executive roles in the banking and finance industry.
Ms Betti joined the Paladin Group in August 2015 and was appointed Joint Company Secretary in April 2018.
General Manager Business Development and Projects
B.Eng (Mech), MBA
In his role as General Manager of Business Development and Projects, Mr. Drake brings 25 years of diversified study, proejcts and operational leadership experience to Paladin.
He has undertaken executive leadership roles in Australia, South America, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia, and was recently the General Manager of Processing at Newcrest's Lihir Gold Mine. He has previously held Program Director roles in BHP's major capital projects program in Nickel, Copper and Iron Ore. Mr. Drake holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) degreee and an MBA.
